Atinamos milestones

This timeline records the points where Atinamos crossed a new capability boundary. It is deliberately narrower than a changelog and broader than an evidence index.

  • Evidence records what happened in a particular observation or transaction.
  • Studies analyse specific services or questions.
  • Milestones record when the Atinamos system itself became capable of something materially new.

Historical milestone pages published retrospectively show both the date the milestone occurred and the date the public record was published. Earlier records are not backdated.

Atinamos produces evidence. Trust is the conclusion the buyer reaches from that evidence.

11 September 2026 — Zero-spend evidence before purchase

Atinamos added a first-class evidence class for independent contract, discovery, MCP and readiness observations without spending money or entering a paid path. The first published case was TAT Risk, including a retained negative /ready observation while payment, settlement, fulfilment, correctness and quality remained explicitly NOT_EVALUATED.

Atinamos begins as a read-first agent-market research project

The first retained Atinamos Agent state compared public agent-community demand with marketplace supply. It could observe and analyse, but had no wallet, payment or execution authority.

The first Atinamos machine service: Render Check

The project moved from reading agent-market activity to performing a bounded machine task: desktop and mobile Chromium rendering with screenshots, HTTP/browser observations and hashes.

Render Check becomes a live paid machine service

Render Check crossed from local worker to machine-payable seller surface, with x402/Bazaar discovery and Virtuals ACP provider operation observed.

Seller / payment

Real machine purchases expose the trust gap

External machine purchases proved that payment and execution could work, but also made the central research problem unavoidable: settlement is not evidence of useful fulfilment, correctness or future trustworthiness.

Independent verification becomes transaction-grounded

A separate verifier wallet made a real bounded purchase, observed fulfilment and persisted payment and service evidence rather than relying on seller claims.

A separate buyer queried Atinamos evidence, applied its own procurement policy, rejected insufficient evidence without paying, and made a real purchase only after the policy passed.

Strict autonomous-buyer Proof #3 completes

A bounded buyer received only a task, budget and risk policy; discovered external services, consulted evidence, selected Keyronne, paid 0.001 USDC and validated the result without the human naming the seller.

Autonomous procurement

First confirmed external commercial purchase of Atinamos

An unrelated external client paid 0.005 USDC for Atinamos JSON Repair and received HTTP 200 fulfilment. The evidence supports external commercial use, not a claim that the unknown buyer was autonomous.

External adoption

Published evidence becomes directly consumable by AI agents

A normal public MCP client could discover Assurance evidence tools, look up a service and retrieve a signed receipt without database, wallet or signing-key access.

Machine access

Signed Assurance publication reaches production

Verification gained durable, gated publication infrastructure and Ed25519/RFC 8785 signed Evidence Receipts while keeping write and signing authority disabled by default.

What does not become a milestone

A new service test, another successful payment or another evidence row does not automatically create a milestone. Those belong in the Evidence Index or Studies unless they prove a genuinely new system capability.

The timeline will therefore grow more slowly than the evidence corpus. That is intentional.
