What happened

The current production Assurance Runner → Verification publication path completed its first end-to-end external commissioning against IBANforge IBAN Validate.

Two bounded x402 calls were made—one positive and one negative checksum control—at 0.005 USDC each. Atinamos independently calculated the expected ISO 13616 MOD-97 result, observed Base settlement, captured fulfilment, compared only the returned valid field against the independent expectation and published two signed Evidence Receipts.

Both controls matched their expected result.

Why it mattered

Earlier work had proved individual pieces: buying, settlement observation, objective assertions, signed receipts and autonomous selection. This commissioning joined the current production Runner and current Verification publication path in one bounded external experiment.

It was also explicit about scope: correctness of valid was independently checked; unrelated BIC, SEPA, bank or enrichment fields were not.

The commissioning supports that the current production path could perform:

What it did not prove

This run was human-triggered commissioning using Runner-controlled execution logic. It was not unattended production autonomy.

It also did not prove provider-wide IBAN correctness or permanent reliability.
